We have a leather couch that is a number of years old, a folding couch from Ikea that is 8 years old, covered with an Indian cotton bedspread. The bed frame is oak, the chairs are antique, and the table and chair for eating at are wood and were bought 2 years ago. There is nothing in the space that is off gassing or in many cases, ever needed to.
