Bedding Information:
Some mattresses are 100% organic cotton. Some mattresses are 100% natural cotton with no flame retardants. Some mattresses are hypoallergenic foam.

Pillow Information:
We have both 100% organic cotton sheets, pillow cases and pillow protectors and 100% regular cotton sheets, pillow cases and pillow protectors. Pillows are 100% cotton covers with polyester fill.

Furniture in each cottage is almost exclusively glass, metal and/or unfinished poplar. Any coverings are primarily 100% cotton.

We do not have wifi in the cottages. Each cottage is designed as a faraday cage to block cell phone signals. No smart meter. Only analog meter. Breaker boxes are located away from the cottages. All wiring is underground in protective conduit. Each cottage has hard wired internet access.

Have you used any pesticides, insecticides, herbicides and/or fungicides on your property in the last year?
No

We use no chemicals on the property. We use diatomaceous earth for ants.

10 of the cottages are 10 years old. 3 of the cottages are two years old. No new construction. One of the ten cottages was painted inside within the last year with Benjamin Moore Natura white primer but has outgassed. We always use NO VOC primer. The cottages were constructed using magnesium oxide board or Densglass instead of traditional sheetrock – less chemicals and no cellulose as a food source for mold.

Not every cottage is tested unless a concern. We have tested one unit one time when a tenant asked us to. There were no internal mold issues.
